About us
My name is Maria Kroslakova and I am owner of the kennel MARIA SIRRAH , established in 1992. Originally the name was SIRRAH, but because of registration by FCI in 1999 it was renamed as MARIA SIRRAH. Together with my papillons I live in a small village Celadince / near Topolcany/.
I bought my first papillon in 1992. I am sure every breeder knows that he cannot demonstrate much with one papillon in his breeding. As years passed, my breeding basic was growing up.
The papillon has never belonged and I hope it will never be a trendy breed. It has been still very precious in Slovakia and the number of active breeders is low. The papillon itself is a small size but with a big heart, it loves its family very much, always adapts to your mood and feels everything with you. It is very proud, friendly, good - tempered . The real papillon´s character could be seen when at least two papillons are together. Your papillon is willing to do lots of kilometres through a forest with you, also spend all day sleeping in the bed, of course, with you.
Like many other breeds, there were in-breeding problems with papillon in Slovakia too. A lot of animals are in-related. That is why I imported my a first female from Czech Republic - Isis Zlaty Krystal. Since this time I have imported a lot of papillons and my big thanks to all breeders of my dogs. They helped me with my breeding program because the base is quality not quantity. My big thanks to owners of kennels: Zlaty Krystal (Czech republik) , Fly Aways ( Finland) , Erinsjoy (England) , Golden Leafs (Sweeden) , Menine (Sweeden) , Vittorias (Sweeden) , Ringlands (England) , Hundebudens (Germany) , Destiny Heights (Sweeden).The all papillons which I used in the breeding program are tested for PRA and PL.
I am going to inform you about all successes and losses as well as
about achievement of our plans or not, simply about our dog life.
